It isn't always that easy...speaking from experience in the pick and pull. The nuts get rather firmly attached to the headlight bolts by corrosion. Force just causes the head to twist the plastic molded hex indent into a circle, but if you're aware of that possibility you can anticipate it and have a vise-grip ready to hold the end of the bolt. Either way you may end up having to replace the bolts, but having the nut mostly backed off makes it a whole lot easier to cut the bolt.
