Pertronix tachometer fix. 140-160 1974

That's the hard way.

Assuming you have an oem (Smiths) tach:

The easy way is to connect the Pertronix red wire to the + terminal of your ignition coil; then the Pertronix black wire to the white wire that was formerly connected to your condensor.

If you have some aftermarket tach (nothing wrong with that), this doesn't apply.
