Solution to Acceleration Problem...sort of 700

Yup you caused it - it's easy to cause the belt to move relative to the cam and crank sprockets when you relieve then reapply belt tension with the tensioner - you have to recheck your work afterward - AMHIK.

The shop is kidding about the 1/2 tooth.
