Back to my original question. I would like to make the fan I have work with my electrical system, but it requires more amperage than my alternator can supply at idle with my other accessories. Modern cars with primary electric fans use alternators that produce more amps at lower rpm. I need one of these alternators.
I have AC, with a denser stacked plate design condenser and a 3.5 inch thick intercooler and 1.5 inch by 8 inch by 11 inch trans and oil coolers, plus a two one inch core radiator. That is a lot more to pull through than stock -- more than twice as thick as the stock sandwich on an intercooled turbo car. Plus, I used a colder fan switch so the fan runs more.
Other fans might be adequate and might work with a stock 31/80 or 31/100 amp alternator, but I am not trying to use other fans. I'll try a little more alternator first. Your fan apparently works with your fan switch and your electrical system and your engine and accessories and modifications, which is great, but I don't have the same car as you, modified the same way, and driven the same way.
