Idle woes 120-130

Nope. Compression test only tells you how well the cylinder seals and is a function of mechanical compresison ratio (higher ratio, more compression), valve timing (more overlap, less compression), valve seat condition (or mis-adjusted lash) and piston/ring/cylinder wall condition. The manifolds are outside of this area (both upstream and downstream).

Vaccum leak tests used on the carbs will also work for finding manifold leaks at the joints.
