hi there,
I definetly understand what ur talking about.. First why did u ended up taking the car to a mechanic? What was the symtoms..? I believe Ecu (brain) Of the car rarely goes bad.. Check with the FAQ's.. It could be as easy as a sensor or a relay or a wiring problem.. or on the other hand mechanic might wanna close the car for a cheap deala nd swap the needed sensor and sell it or drive it.. I saw that happened too..
