Dear Rob,

Good p.m. and hope you're well. As I'm sure you know, the cluster can be taken apart, to get at a "pushed-in" plug, and to clean the inside of the plastic face.

You're quite right to caution about applying gentle pressure to replace the black rubber plug. Removing, disassembling, and replacing the cluster is time-consuming. Best avoided by going gently at plug replacement.
