Source for Shift Knob Cap 200 1978

I know exactly what you are talking about.

If I were you, I'd be happy if the knob isn't cracked and not worry so much about the shift pattern being printed... Unfortunately the original cap is so expensive (and only available from the dealer as far as I know) it's not worth replacing unless your knob is cracked, and cracked badly.

And for what it's worth... the etched pattern will also wear away. I've gone through my fair share of them on my '80 245...
