may have solved it BUT........ 200 1983

OK, while checking the routine stuff I found that the gound on the fuel pump had come off. There is a another problem, however, and I feel pretty stupid about this one. Last night, in the dark, I swapped in a known-good fp relay just to make sure. The problem is that I somehow put the relay on with only four connectors making contact and turned the damned ignition key. No more instrument panel lights! What the hell did I do? Electrical is not my strong suit... The car still cranks just as it did. No blown fuses. Even with the fuel pummp connected the car will not start. Does the fuel circuit go through the instrument panel?
