It is always hazardous to work on or under a car supported only by a jack. Got jackstands?

The jacking points for the factory supplied jack are located behind the front wheels and ahead of the rear wheels. Look for a bit with a cross-bar in it. The factory jack will have a shape that will fit into and over that cross-bar.
