I would agree with your view of an auction -- for me E bay has been a wonderful thing -- not because I buy a lot of stuff there but living in New Zealand where there are very few old Volvo's just finding out whats available second hand is a big help, anything I ship in is going to be expensive so I only buy things I really want, usually prices are too high but sometimes I can access parts which are common in the US and unobtainable here ( I did this with some alfa diffs lately ) by dealing with someone who is a (semi) hobbyist I can get bits for a reasonable price. What is a sniping tool?
