I got a question,, what type of tap did you use?? A pipe thread tap or one designed for use in spark plug holes??? And I hope you had a vacuum cleaner attached to it as if any metal particles are dropped into the cylinder .. well lets just say it is not a good thing...By the way, there are no such thing as vacuum cleaners that do that..You would have to vacuum out the inside of the cylinder while using a tap as the metal drops down and not up..:) I guess you could invent a tap with a hole in it to attach a vacuum tube into the cylinder while turning the tap..hmmm?? Ok just vacuum out the cylinder after you finish tapping it.... hope you get all the metal out..
