Hi, guys.

Thanks for all your responses. They've been very helpful.

It looks, in light of the remarks about slippage, that my transmission might benefit from the new "non-slip" ATF.

And, to help it survive, I've already planned for a transmission cooler (I put Volvo transmission coolers in all my cars -- they're a little overpriced, but they come with screw fittings/couplers that are perfect, and these give me more confidence than simple hoses and clamps).
