M40 / M41 crossmember differences 140-160 1972

I would think you would be able to modify a non-overdrive crossmember... It just has to be thinner such that it fits between the gearbox and overdrive. The mount is at more (or less) of an angle.... almost sits in there sideways, which means transmission mounts ain't gonna last as long with the overdrive.

I'll see if I can get a picture of that switch and housing... as usual, the car and the camera are at different places right now, but I can fix that I reckon...
