i just wrestled with a 212 today in a 95 850. found an intake leak behind the mass meter and also found out that the front o2 doesn't like it when rear o2 isn't speaking to the ecm, according to the manual. played with the rear connector and got the o2 to work and the front o2 never again set a code. this was after clearing and coming back 3 times already. so, i MIGHT be a dead front o2, or it might be something else. 212 just means the front o2 doesn't like what it smells or what it's doing. good luck, chuck.
