Got car started - started first try.

front brakes feel shot, adding thermostat to list of issues.

Biggest issue might be tranny a little slow shifting into gear. Could it be from lack of use? Fluid looks in need of changing, dark but not burnt smelling, could that be why?

He wanted $500 - I figure I'll need about $400+ in parts plus a bunch of labor. Biggest worry would be the tranny...

Opinions out there?
