brake line junction problem, please help 200

I won't address the philosophy of new vs. used, but instead, just point out the seal on the switch is not designed to keep hydraulic pressure inside, but to keep dust outside. The leak, if it appears there, is not due to the switch seal, but to the seal made at the internal O-rings as Lucid points out. Yes, this is the job that justifies getting the best 11mm line wrench you can afford.
