rearend u-joint flange swapping? 120-130

I've already replaced the u-joints, and the carrier bushings, so currently it's good there, except a couple of the yokes have some pretty bad damage, that's why i wan't to ditch this shaft and go with the new.

I realize the difference between the driveshaft bearings. I didn't see any major obstacle to converting the carrier to the new style. A little cutting and drilling would take care of it.

Maybe someone else has tried?
