Not familiar with automatics much so here is the present problem.
Trans starts to slip out of gear at low rpm's, check fluid...had to add 2 quarts.
Oil filler cap bounces around indicating high crankcase pressure, and in fact, oil is being forced out the cap seal and down the side of the engine, and is burning on the exhaust.
Checked the flame trap, it's OK.
Could these be related? Is there a connection somewhere from the auto fluid to the engine oil?
The auto fluid does not seem to be leaking from the trans under the car, so where is it going?
The water is OK so it isn't a trans cooler leak in the radiator.
Baffled, but need to fix this soon I think.
