240 wagon vs. lumber

Nope - won't work. Rear seats folded down, you get about 6-1/2', about the same as a compact truck. Having the 2-door seats does allow the front passenger seat to fold foward, offering more space on that side.

Still, it's stuff like this that explains why I have a HD roof rack ... with the HD standing for Home Depot. It's built out of 2x4's, with an enclosed section of 5-1/2' wide x 8' long.
