coolant 200 1988

When I replaced the radiator on my '92 last summer I was faced with the same question. DId a lot of research, and ultimately I chose Dexcool - the orange stuff. It's compatible with iron and aluminum, available almost everywhere, and still a little cheaper than the Volvo coolant. I did a thorough flush of the old system first to make sure none of the old coolant was left.
