Search the 200 page for talk on E-code conversions. The majority view seems to be that they are vastly superior to the plastic lens lights on 240's from 1986 on...so they will be better than the plastic lens on 740/760/900's as well.
By the way, the yellowing of the plastic lens can be corrected somewhat by using oven cleaner which removes the yellow film coating on the plastic. Then I read to use fine cut (Meguiar's?) compound to polish them clean...Again, check the 200 page archives....
