Oil filter 140-160

The screwdriver method is a last resort. Well, almost last. The last resort is calling the scrapper.

I bought a car once that was leaking oil terribly from the filter seal. Some one had it on WAY WAY WAY too tight. After bending the filter with various filter wrenches, we tried the screwdriver method. THat just tore the filter apart. In the end, we scrapped the car... and it was a fine running car. But we could never get the bottom of the oil filter off (all but the bottom had been torn to bits by then).

A cryin' shame, but we just couldn't do it and had to get the car off the street before the cops towed it...
