P1800 on ebay What do you think?

Hi--Im located in central coastal NJ and think that the bid price where it is now-is top dollar for the car based on what I see as far as prices for p1800s in similar condition. The seller seems honest enough-but-the fact is-the pics dont show alot and something like this--if I couldnt actually see the car--I would be hesitant to pay anything more than where its bid to now. I say this as Iv seen two project p1800s in running condition-but-needing minimal rust repair and paint--going for less than 2000.00 here in my area. A fellow vcoa member living close to me has a p1800ES (wagon) with the 4 spd overdrive in running condition and he will be asking 1800 for the car. The car is red with tan vinyl interior and has minor rust above the headlight buckets. The car is a driver-can be driven anywhere. Id try to get more pics of the car before bidding and the fact that it sat for so long-not a good thing-gelled gas in gas tank and rusty brake lines are almost a sure bet. Good luck if you buy the car. I dont mean to discourage you-but-telling you as I see it.
