All I can do is commiserate. I didn't use a POR product, but on my headers I did what I thought was a good prep of the surface. Applied some silver 'hot' paint, let it dry the correct amount of time, put it on and fired it up to let it heat cure. Soon after large flakes of silver paint started coming off like confetti. *sigh*
