The PO had all of the suspension/alignment work done.
Maybe this alignment is worth investigation. Having said that, wouldn't the alignment (specifically toe-in) manifest itself in a wander? I'd expect it to wander on a flat section but this is not the case. It steers well on flat road.
Put the car on well-travelled (grooves in road)and there LOTS of lateral movement. IE the inequities in the road are exerting enough force on the wheels to push the car sideways.
As mentioned, I'm glad we don't do a lot of highway driving in it.
I don't mind paying someone to fix it, I just don't want to send it in saying "it's broken, go to town!" Partly because I don't have a local mechanic here (or anywhere).
