Ideal Brick to buy?

Iamhives;

From the discussions I've read on board, seems the pinnacle of the RWD is the 1995 940's, as the other poster mentioned. Probably 1993 to 1995 945 would be a nice choice.

We have a 1989 745T with the 3rd seat and it's VERY handy (actually more useful than we expected).

We have 3 kids so they can easily fit in the 2nd seat but if Grandpa/Grandma come by for a visit, the older 2 can ride in the back.

The weight limit for these seats is 88lbs each. The belts are full 3 pt harness type and since most crashes are frontal, they will be fine the majority of the time. Since it is not a constantly utilized seat, we are not concerned with having them ride back there for short trips around town.

I have a letter from Volvo (posted here awhile back) regarding 3rd seat safety. It's common sense stuff; interesting nonetheless.
