Engine identification 900

The thought didn't occur to me, but you are right of course. The two processes, casting and machining, probably didn't even take place at the same plant - or in the same country, now that I think about it.

Machining could have taken place at a later date.

Meaning Monday is still a possibility. Oh well, it has held up nicely for more than 17 years, so I don't suppose it owes me anything.
