I replaced mine with a new cat-back system from MufflerMasters for about $150-200. Since I eliminated the forward stock muffler they had to fabricate an new 2.5" pipe back to one of their generic low restriction mufflers mounted behind the rear axle. Over all the sound is a slight bit louder - more of a muffled hum than complete silence. I doubt that anyone not familiar with a stock exhaust would notice the difference in sound.
