I did not see this on your list and I do not know if 83s have it, but the crank position/RPM sensor on the top of the transmission housing? I have also heard that the ground loops near the ECU can get corroded. Not sure the 83s have those either but they look like those cheap lollypop sticks for kids so they can't poke their eyes out.
