Ground problem in taillight assembly 700 1989

Don't know if this will help but have you tried unplugging each taillight one at a time to see what happens? Or maybe take out the light fuses one at a time? Also maybe take the light monitor can apart. There may be some fried components visable. Or maybe an exorcist would help !!!
