Draft semi's 140-160

I think the Eurovans that the VR6 is in are FWD as well. The VR6 was designed to fit 6 cylinders into the space of 4, and if you look at the engine (and lok around the bulky looking intake manifold that wraps over the top) it looks to be about the same size as a B20 - no longer, slightly thicker block but actually narrower when you consider the things that stick out of the sides of a B20 (distribuor, manifolds). If only there was some way to find the proper bellhousing it would be a snap... (fatal underestimating of complexity occurs...)

EDIT - A thought occurs that Audi's have north/south engine installations, and VW often uses similar bellhousing bolt patterns...

I'll bet with some tinkering you could get MegaSquirt to run that Kompressor on an SLK drivetrain. An issue would be that a very high percentage of them come with auto boxes, it would be hard to get your hands on a manual drivetrain.

I think a Honda S2000 drivetrain would scream in a PV. 240 HP when wrung out to the 8900 rpm, 150 ft lbs sounds weak in comparison but it's more than a B20 makes, stock. And it comes hooked up to a sweet 6 speed manual RWD tranny, and is often sold as a complete set on eBay (motor, trans, ECU and harness) for swaps. The PV weighs about 700-ish lbs less than the Honda it came in does.
