I do that constantly, though I just yell "Volvo!"- covers 140s and 164s etc. My girlfriend doesn't do it (she IDs cars as "blue" "brown" and the like) but her son surprised me while we were watching a movie a few months back, by yelling "Volvo!" before I could. He's a Chevy guy, so that's progress..:)
