Don't forget to remove the metal hooks! After I washed mine, I had to buy new elastic at a fabric store and spend two hours sewing them on. The old ones didn't have any elastic left in them.
The wash machine left a LOT of dark blue lint in the tub, and the dryer screen filled up twice.
