Rust bubbles turn to holes in no time flat... I'm sure you could jam a screwdriver though some.

If its cheap, and you really want an ES, go for it. But I wouldn't bother with a restoration. Just drive it till it drops, then use it for a donor car when you find one worth restoring. I'd say $1000 tops.
