Hi Gregski,

The shaft coming out of the transmission (and going thru the PNP sensor) was so long on both our 95 964 and our 98 S90 that the PNP sensor would could not physically come all the way off the shaft without removing the ATF cooler line. I spent a long time working on it and it pyhsically could not come off. I also asked my very sharp wife (who approaches problems like this VERY differently than I), to take a good long look at it in case I was missing something (which I often do). She couldn't get it off either.

Perhaps the shaft on the European AW30-43 is a little shorter so that you can slide it off the shaft and then there's enough room to slde it down between the end of the shaft and the ATF 90 degree fitting?
