Damage to my AMM....any future problems? 200 1986

After tjts1 posted sometime back about removing the screen in his car I also removed mine. It's been around 4000 miles now with 203k on the car and she's running real smooth, better punch on the throtle responce and the car seems to like it just fine. If you amm is not damaged in any way I personally wouldn't worry what so ever about it, and just drive it this way.
