Yeah, I used to drive my '71 E in the snow all the time. Skinny 165R15 tires seem to cut through the snow and bite into the pavement. It did better than most other non-AWD cars I saw out flailing around.

Of course, the salt then ate the sills, despite lots and lots of washing....
