Sylvania Silver Star head lights: An excellent replacement: my experience

Dick, I've often wondered about these bulbs. I use the upgraded Sylvania halogen 9004 bulbs ($17 per pair at Walmart) and the $30 or so for the Sylvania Silver choked me. Glad to hear they work better.

The WORST is driving with mediocre Volvo headlamps in the snow and salt: the spray reduces the headlamps down to dim candles at best. Worthless. How could Volvo have used these headlamps on their US cars?
