Hello, latley its been awfully cold (-10?F) and the heat in my 1994 940 Wagon (B230F) has always been a little lukewarm, but with the additon of this weather, driving is almost unbearable... When I bought the car, I ran across a new Volvo thermostat new in the box, in the car's glovebox. So today I dug it out, and looked it over, it says its for B230 Engines...its a 189?F thermostat, I boiled it out of habit, and it opened up at 190?ish. when I checked the FAQ's it suggested a 198? thermostat for the B230F and a 189? for the B230FT... Which one is it? I figured it would also be a great time to fix the bad temp. gauge while I was at the thermostat, so I went down to the parts store, and picked up one, however it was the wrong one ( one of the three on the bottom of the radiator) so I've got to go back and pick up the other one. I know out of 3, the farthest on the right is for the fan, but what are the other 2 for? and does anyone know any tricks to getting the temperature sensor out of the block right under the manifold?
Thanks in advance!!!
-Tim
