I did this just a week ago, using the smaller type head rests. Maybe those pictures help you out a bit. Notice that there are 2 O's / rings allready welded to the seat frame which should match the wider head rests. So you'd just have to weld the pipes in place I presume.

BTW, as you might be able to see in the pics, the horizontal bands on the frame can be thightened up by tightening the two screws on the sides of the frame: they pull on the little frames. Those two screws can be reached through the wee hole that is present in the seat cover, so they can be adjusted from the outside. The seat cover has a little metal ring pressed in on the sides from where you can reach the srews (allways though they were to let air escape or something). The screws have wee funnel-type caps behind them to direct the (phillips) screwdriver in the right direction.
