Tire replacement question 700

"I have since switched to 205/60/15 on the 940 and as well as my 87 745T. The speedo's are accurate and the handeling much improved on spring/summer/fall pavement"

I'm thinking of changing to that size. Will the wider tire affect fuel consumption , with the bigger rolling resistance compared to a 195/60? And how does it perform in rain? When it rains where I am it'll rain everyday.
