today i have been working on it a bit and i think that i determined that the connector to the ECT is bad. i checked the grounds on the manifold and continuity in the connector. grounds are good and the connector has continuity. this problem has been a complete pain.
if i bridge the connector(to mimick low resistance in the sensor) i can get the engine to respond, which leads me to believe that everything is cool, except when i plug it in...i am pretty sure the spade lugs are thrashed.
unfortunately the dealers are closed today and i can not get a replacement connector.
any of this sound right?
