No these are definitely not interchangeable -- different dimensions. I removed the broken slide out cupholders from the 960's console, did some cutting with an Exacto and mounted a single flip down cup holder (except in "flip-up mode") under the leather console hood (it just barely fits), i.e. you open up the console with the hood laying back to the rear seat, then you flip open the cupholder; it works perfectly and looks fine, but is awkward in that you can't use the armrest when you are using the cupholder (because the cup is in the way).
