To see how the car was originally equipped, look at the first three digits of the VIN. 132 = B18D, 133 = B18B. The tune-up specs are the same in either case.
I agree that the Weber DGV is overrated as a performance upgrade. A good set of SUs is generally better, and a lot easier to tune decently. The Weber can give quite decent performance if it's set up right, though.
There are only two adjustments -- the idle speed (halfway up at the rear), and the idle mixture (at an angle in the base). Pretty much everything else is accomplished by swapping out jets and possibly other hardware.
