Acceleration is sluggish & variable. F.I. or trans? 200 1985

I've had 2 similar situations, first one was a bad connection on the temp sensor down by the flame trap(bought the car based on a mechanic saying the wire harness was shot to find the bad connection, 35,000 miles later runs great)second situation was a bad transmission mount, big difference in the way the car would perform after, accelerated and coasted better. Good luck
