Throttle Cable Linkage and Drum Adjustments ?

Throttle Cable Linkage adjustment. 760 or 240

Is the Throttle Linkage supposed to be adjusted such that there is a 1mm space between the idle stop and cable drum -- when adjustment completed? Or is the drum supposed to rest on the idle stop when completed?
