Well, I may have resolved the issue. I bought a small 2 ton jack and jack stand set that comes with a creeper...$23 at Pep Boys. It will work fine for oil changes. I ordered a bottle of AutoRx....whew, $25 for a small bottle! Anyway, I read enough to convince me to try it to eliminate the occasional sticky lifter in this car. I will follow the procedure and then switch to synthetic and a Mann filter over the next 2 oil chnages.
