740 no start 700

This is a long shot. Had an 85 that the cat blew out and stopped up the exhaust. I had fuel/spark/compression and still wouldn't start. Friend tried spraying starter fluid and noticed it wouldn't draw. So unbolted the exhaust manifold and started right up.
