Replacing the in-tank pump is a little tricky, buy can be accomplished pretty easily. Get the Bentley manual. The pump should cost maybe $40-$60. Get a new seal for the hole in the top of the gas tank. And if you want to make it easier, you can buy the tool for the bung nut that IPD sells.
